Although I will be the only representative from Organic Outreach International on most of this trip, I know that I will be traveling with God’s grace and a host of supporters praying throughout.  Liz will be joining me in Uganda and will help teach there before we head home, stopping in Thailand for a few days of rest before the final leg home.

This journey will involve seven countries (Myanmar, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Rwanda, and Uganda) over four weeks and will include ten all-day teaching events for pastors and leaders.  We will be teaching on all topics of Organic Disciples and Organic Outreach.

We estimate that we will be reaching between 1,500 – 2,000 pastors and leaders over the course of the entire journey.  This represents about 10,000 – 15,000 church members who will be impacted as the pastors begin to put into practice what they will be learning.  There will actually be pastors in attendance from 11 countries, the ones coming from other countries represent the Democratic Republic of the Congo, South Africa, and Nigeria (that we know of).

For some of these events, leaders we have been working with over the past five years will be conducting the majority of the teaching.  In other countries, this will be our first time entering those countries physically, but we have been teaching key leaders online for the past year and they will also participate in the teaching as appropriate.  This is our primary strategy – to teach and equip indigenous leaders who can then equip and teach others in their countries.

A few of the countries being visited are not considered to be completely safe for foreigners (Myanmar, Rwanda) so we ask particularly for prayers of protection.  We are taking all possible precautions, but always welcome coverage in prayer.
